Since I've started blogging back in January of this year, I've definitely noticed that I have been a bit more daring with my clothing choices and more into creatively choosing my outfits. With that said, it's easy to get caught up with comparing myself to other bloggers, or looking at their clothing choices and seeing what other people like on them and being like wow, maybe I should try that. But then, I need to tell myself to stop. Why would I want to dress like everone else? AKA even if it's not necessarily my 'style' I find myself thinking of doing the same. It's easy to get caught up in what others wear, and although it does over inspiraiton, it's important to remember to stay true to who you are and how you dress. I'd like to think I have a unique style, and have something different to offer in my style than whats currently around. I don't need to constantly embrace trends (like mixing patterns all the time) to make a statement. I think the best statement is staying true to your style persona and hope that people like it. After all, dressing can give you an added confidence, and if you try to be like everyone else what good does that do?
